Miss Alice at 4 months

  • Weighs 15 lbs 2 oz (75th percentile)
  • She is 27 in long (98th percentile)
  • She still has a giant head (99th) percentile
  • She has grown 7 inches in her short 4 months of life
  • She is super smiley. Gets more smiley all the time. She almost always wakes up with a big grin on her face
  • Still sleeping 10-12 hours at night. I usually end up waking her up in the morning because at 8:45 I am ready to get out and she is still sound asleep.
  • She has started laughing this month. It is the cutest thing ever.
  • She developed an allergy to milk this month. This is not the cutest thing ever. At about 3 and a half months Allie started having blood in her poop. I took her to the doctor and it turns out they think she is allergic to milk products. So I have had to stop eating or drinking anything that contains milk. It is really hard! The docs are hopeful that she will grow out of it. Hopefully sooner rather than later so I can get back to eating cheese and ice cream.
  • Allie figured out how to roll over. She can go from both front to back and back to front. It is still a novelty around here though. We get pretty excited every time she decides to show off.
  • She is starting to love her toys and her play mat.
  • Allie has decided that tummy time is not the worst thing in the world. She now gives me 5-10 minutes before she starts screaming. This is a HUGE improvement.
  • Still loving the bath and the swimming pool.
  • Turns out she is a dog lover like her dad. We have been dog sitting and she smiles and laughs every time she sees the dog! I am in for it.

  1. She is adorable!
You will be happy she likes dogs. Even though I hate my parent's puppies I am glad they have made Carter used to animals and he won't be the kid that breaks down in tears 10 feet away from the neighbor's dog. Silver lining I guess.
As always, very cute pictures, I love them all.
