Happenings of the Summer

There is a lot of blogging I never got around to. So here is one vomit post of a lot of our summer!

Alice is really starting to get around. She rolls and scoots all over our house. Right now her favorite thing is to try and wedge herself under our couch.
I ended up having to go into work a few days in the beginning of August and Grandma Tracy was so kind to us. She flew up from Houston to babysit Allie while I went into work. It was so nice of her. I loved that I could leave Allie with her instead of trying to find someone to watch her! Allie is lucky to have such a nice grandma.

We are still loving the bath.                   And she is still the happiest cutest baby.

At least once a day she falls asleep on me like this. I love it.
Laying on her Boppy watching Seinfeild.
She is really starting to love baby einstein and sesame street.

We are so lucky to have Jessica and Jed so close. We LOVE getting together with them. Allie loves Jessica and their dog Zaxby (and Jed too).

Sleeping in church.                     Cow appreciation day. Three free Chick-fil-a meals.

It was one of my good friends birthdays and we partied at North Park Mall and Maggianos.

My mom says we straight jacket our child. She thinks it is cruel and unusual punishment.

She is stilling up and starting to love playing with toys.

She also loves real food these days. Strawberries and celery are two favorites.
We hosted a baby shower for 5 of my best friends. They are all having baby girls! I am begging to wonder who all of these baby girls are going to marry in 25... or 30 years.

We headed to the double feature drive in with the Thorpes and the Stones. We are crazy! We all took our kids and we didn't get home until 2am. By some miracle all of the kids fell asleep and we were able to enjoy both of the movies with the exception of being a little overheated, but what can you expect in the Texas in the summer?
