Utah in a Giant Nut Shell

We spent 5 weeks in Utah and had a blast. Here are a million pictures to prove it.
This is the night before we left. I guess packing for a month long vacation was exhausting for the baby. Also, this was her last night ever in the velcro swaddle.... tear.
The day we got to Utah it was my oldest nieces 13th birthday. We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate. Can't believe I have a niece that is a teenager.

Grandma B took was swimming at riverside country club. Allie loved it.
I spent  a week babysitting these 5 boys and it was a blast. They are full of laughs.

Allie loved this big dog and spending time outside in the cool Utah air.

We spent a lot of time watching my nieces and nephews sporting events. Allie loved the Utah grass. It beats Texas grass any day of the week. I couldn't get enough of her in these pics. She was just being so adorable.

Adam was studying for the second part of his medical school boards while we where there so he didn't do much besides study. I did get him to go on one hike with me a couple days after he took his test. We went up to stewart falls. It was beautiful. The leaves were starting to change and the mountains are just so pretty. You forget how pretty the outdoors can be when you have lived in flat Texas for a while.

Anna, Jana, and I took about 20 kids bowling! It was crazy but a lot of fun.

I also babysat my brothers 4 kids for a week but the pic on the left is the only pic I took and only one of the kids is in it! We tried our best to get Allie addicted to Sesame Street.

It was so fun to be able to go to the BYU vs. Texas football game with Brett and Jenny.

This is what two grown men surprised by fireworks looks like. Brett and Adam really love each other.

Jenny and her Cougar Tail.

Loved spending time with two of my childhood friends and favorite people in Utah, Amber and Katie!

We celebrated my nephew Jack's birthday party with the best bash of the year. Complete with catered chick-fil-a and bouncy slides. He is one spoiled boy.

Allie had her first popsicle. Which turns out was a big mistake. Now every time she sees a popsicle she freaks out until she gets it in her belly.

A couple days after I got to Utah this horrible cut happened to my foot. I was washing Allies arms off in the kitchen sink because they were sticky from eating strawberries. She grabbed a knife that I didn't see sitting next to the sink and dropped it straight on my foot. The cut was really deep and bleed pretty bad for a couple days. You can kind of see in the top picture but the entire top of my foot turned into a bruise. It hurt so bad! I couldn't really move my toes for a couple days and I couldn't wear a shoe for like 2 weeks! I am just so happy it was me and not her.

These two babies loved each other.

Allie went to the Hogle Zoo for the first time, one of my childhood staples. She was under impressed by the animals... slept most of the time. The rest of the kids loved it though.
