Half A Year

• Please make time stop. I can't believe Allie is 6 months old. So much has happened in the last month.
• She has started eating solids. She loves them. Her favorites are celery, apples, strawberries, and watermelon. 
• She is on the move. Can't leave her alone to long. She is getting around. Allie isn't really crawling but getting from point A to point B without much of an issue. It is more like a bear crawl. She gets on her hands and feet and sticks her butt all the way up in the air and lunges in the direction she wants to go.
• We had a parent fail. Allie lunged off the bed and did a full summersault landing on her back on the floor. It was so sad! She didn't even cry until I screamed when I noticed it. I think the only thing that was hurt was our parent pride!
• She has started reaching for the people she wants... which so far has still only been me.
• She wakes up so happy these days! She is still all smiles all the time.
• Alice's hair is getting longer. We can finally clip the bows in!
• Still no teeth.
• Still allergic to milk :(
• Peek-a-boo is pretty much the coolest these days.
• She loves other kids. She is laughing and smiling at them anytime they pay any attention to her. 
• Allie is getting a little attitude. She is starting to take a liking to certain toys and if you attempt to take them away she freaks. She knows what she wants and when it is gone she is angry.
• She is sitting in high chairs at restaurants which has made going out much more enjoyable. 
• She is a snuggly baby. She often lays her head on my shoulder and just snuggles me. I love it!
• In our opinion she is still the perfect baby and makes me want to have 100. Maybe the next child will bring me back to reality.
